sampsonzak
I have had a 503 error on my site show up over the last few months that I've noticed, and I cannot figure out what is causing it. I've checked through logs, deleted large sql rows from past plugins, disabled plugins, bought a cache plugin, and a whole lot more, and it's still happening. Are there any plugins, or tools I can use to find out what exactly is causing it? My webhost have tried to help, but seeing as PrestaShop only uses index.php, they cannot help or point me in any direction at all. I even upgraded my webhost, even though I have less than <20 concurrent users.. so my server is not underpowered, something, somewhere is causing it to go extremely high load for ~5 minutes, being offline - then back to normal and is fine again.. for a few days atleast? I am lost, and I have no idea what to do except make the jump to Magento 2. I would rather not but I feel that it may be beneficial in the long run. I've had too many issues with PrestaShop, and I do not have a clue what I can do now. I would appreciate any recommendations, or any sort of tool I could use to debug what is causing these high cpu usage spikes. I have logged lots of things down in a notepad, weekly XML requests, catalog fetch times, etc etc. Nothing matches up or makes sense. I noticed considerable less CPU usage when I disabled the 'infinite scroll module' and much better CPU usage when enabling 'page cache ultimate'. Other than this, I'm clueless on what to even look at next. Looked at slow SQL queries: over 300k rows in my PS_Affiliates table. Cleaned this, no change. Belén García-Vaquero
A mi me está pasando igual. Llevo una semana sin poder entrar como administrador a mi página. Siempre me sale el error 503 y no es de mi servidor sino de Prestashop. ¿Alguien sabe cómo solucionarlo? ¡Gracias!

The error which was causing this was a plugin I had which was "Google Tag Manager by Línea Gráfica". It was around a year old. I updated the plugin and my site has worked flawlessly since. If you use this plugin, make sure you update it to the latest version. Additionally, I wish I did this: Enable debugging mode on your store, and inspect element on the webpage to look see if you can find any errors, - this is how I found errors relating to this plugin which made me update it - and it worked. I was stuck on this for a good month, I was very close to closing my PrestaShop and moving over to Magento.
