Minimum amount calculation for discount

I have set 3 cart rules with the appropriate minimum amount and priority to effect 20%, 30% and 40% discounts. However, I would like to confine the minimum amount calculation to only undiscounted products from a specific category. In other words I would like to exclude discounted products from the computation of the minimum amount. How can I do this? I am using PS 1.7.6.4. Thank you.

Unfortunately PrestaShop doesn't allow you to consider a minimum amount from a selection of products. You need a module https://addons.prestashop.com/en/promotions-gifts/9129-promotions-and-discounts-3x2-sales-offers-packs.html
