Moving margins on page to the right to center the text.

Hi I'm new.  Im trying to create a simple About US page with the text .  When I go to Design -> Pages -> Add new page and I add some simple text there the text, appears not centered and is too far over to the left of the margin. How can i adjust the text block to be left justified but moved over x pixels to the right?
