Product import question - where can i see column mapping

I have tried importing a products CSV file which i created using the sample Product import file. My file has a single product. I click import and i get the import successful message however my product is not appearing in the products table. I think the issue may be to do with column mapping from my CSV file to the Presta table. On the import screen i see a warning for me to map all columns source to target. The screen however only presents me with one field list drop down which also has the option to Ignore This Field. 

I have used similar imports in other systems and i would expect to be able to select a column header from my CSV file and map it to a target column or tell the import to ignore the column. But the Presta screen as far as i can see is only showing me the target side options, ie.e the field to map to or the option to ignore. As it happens i have used the field names as per the sample file.

 

what am i missing please?
