Import CSV query

Hi

I have 2 languages within my shop

I have exported my database to CSV

I have amended some descriptions, titles, prices etc in only ONE of the languages

I now want to upload said CSV file

I go to Configure > Advanced Parameters > Import >select my file

I fill in appropriate columns field seperator, value seperator etc

I choose Force all ID numbers

Then match up all the columns description, ID number, prive etc except for ONE - there is no option to pick ID_Lang.

 

How do I update my database?

My CSV file only has 1 language in it to update, do I need to put BOTH languages into the CSV file?

e.g. Shop is in English & Russian

I want to update Russian

When I export I have english as lang_id 1 and russian as id_lang 2

The CSV I have created ONLY has russian in it (with a column for ID_Lang 2)

If I upload this file without being able to select ID_Lang from the dropdowns will it overwrite the English? Or the Russian? Or both?

If I put both languages into the CSV file I will end up with 2x each line (1 Eng, 1 Rus) how does system update this?

 

Any advice/remarks/comments greatfully accepted
