Product Download Errors

Hi all! Just starting using Prestashop - I love it! Very clean and easy to use, and I'm hopeful that the community rallies around it to make some great extensions.

One problem I am having, though -- I intend to sell downloadable products, but when I upload an .rtf or a .pdf file, the data gets lost and the files are empty. The .pdf indicates the file is corrupt.

Any ideas on what is going on and how I can fix it?
