Prestashop 1.7.6.4, PHP 5.6, pood.e-aiand.com

Chrome, Opera, Firefox

I am establishing a new Prestashop 1.7 webshop on pood.e-aiand.com. I have been struggling with this three last days - but so far, I have not been able to get rid of an extremely annoying problem. Later or sooner, the site just keeps loading (and never loads) - or an error 500 pops up.  I have tried to clean cache - sometimes it helps and sometimes it does not. I reinstalled Prestashop - no difference. I have tried the 'incognito' mood - sometimes it helps and sometimes it does not. I work with Chrome mainly - but I have tried also Opera and Firefox. I am using Linux, not Windows.

At the very present, both back- and frontend load normally, though.

I can not update the PHP to version 7.2 - because I need my Prestashop 1.6.1.1 working while I am developing a new shop.

Thus, I am stuck... Should I continue with the Prestashop at all? I would like to because I have used to it and so far, I have liked it.

EDIT: The web hosting provider updated the PHP to 7.2 (though yesterday, they told me that this could not be done...) for pood.e-aiand.com while for the remainded e-aiand.com ti is still 5.6.

I'll update my post here - whether this solved my problems or not.
