Hi,

Is there a way I can create a discount coupon/voucher that gives 10% discount but say for example a maximum discount limit of $10

e.g. a $500 order will only have $10 discount, but a $50 order will have $5 discount

You can't do it with PS, you need a module.

Or to customize your shop, but as Jose said, this is not a built in option.

Do you want to generate a discount coupon when you place an order and make it available for your next purchase?

Then a minor edit in OrderHistory.php would be enough, or create an override of OrderHistory.php and edit the email template.
A condition would be entered, eg when changing the status to Paid, generate a discount code for the user and send it by email.
This adjustment does not take much time.
I would write the module in two hours 😉
