New Order Email to Admin not Working

This was working and at some point I noticed it had stopped. I don't know exactly when, probably after updating from PS 1.7.5 to 1.7.6.4. The emails for order confirmation to customers are working. Other emails from the server are working.

Just the functionality to send an email to a list of addresses is not working. I tried adding other mails, which are not with the same domain as the shop but no change.

I am talking about the free ps_emailalerts module which can be configured to send emails to the admin/sellers.

 

Does anyone have any ideas?

 

PrestaShop: 1.7.6.4

PHP: 7.2.29

PHP Memory: 2048M

MySQL: 10.3.22-MariaDB-log

Thanks for the info, any links to where people talk about it not working?

 

This is why I hate prestashop, even the limited not included in core module functionality gets broken a lot of times with updates. I don't want to spend money on paid modules for a shitty CMS.

Edit: But I have to work with it because of legacy clients that want it.
