How to enable HTML for product page's short description & description?

Recommended Posts

Hello Sir/Madam,

I have looked around to find the solution for this problem, but I am failed to do it. Can somebody teach me how to enable HTML for product page's short description & description? I am using PS V1.3.6.

Now, I have the big problems that the short description of the product-list pages does not displayed in proper style, all the words are messing together without paragraph. I tried to modify the following:

{$product.description_short|strip_tags:'UTF-8'}

to:

{$product.description_short}

The short description is displayed in proper style for first item only, and then the whole column gone to be arranged abnormal.

At product page, not only the short description is not arranged in proper HTML style, the description field for more info tab also got error. It does not displayed in HTML format.

Please advice how can I fix this problem. Thank you very much.

Hi,

How can you enable HTML format for your product page's description? Did you change anything? I cannot change the text color, bold, text size & etc for the description although I set it properly at the BO.

Please help, thank you.

Hi,

I am confusing, does the HTML function for product page allow us to make a front:bold for certain words? I tried many ways, but still do nothing.

For the product-list page, all the words are messing together. I tried to remove the strip_tags, the result is the whole column gone to be unarranged.

Please advice and help, thank you.

Hi

I have just tried using the HTML edit facility and made bold text - no problem. (why are you using the html facility - there is a plain text facility like word that does it for you)

Re your product list page I do not fully undertsand what you mean.

Remember I am only a novice at this.
If it helps take a look here http://www.justdogwalking.com/12-womens-clothes this is what I have been able to do with just the normal product description text editor.
