SparkXC
Hey Everyone!! Wondering if anyone can explain the multistore effects SEO when the main domain redirects to the multistore location. So this is my website structure: I have a multiple front end informational website each with a need for their own online shop. The products are fairly different..yet a bit related. Obviously it would be nice to manage only one store with one SSL certification. My concern is that how does the multistore domain redirect effect my SEO for the main info website domain? Example: Let's say I have 2 main info websites www.abc.com and www.efg.com. My multistore is located on www.multistore.com. So when I setup my shop in the multistore the domain path is www.multistore.com/abc or www.multistore.com/efg. How does Google see this? Can I actually make it a boost with backlinks in my product descriptions? Can I mask my www.multistore.com/abc to read www.abc.com/shop? Am I thinking about this all wrong? Is there a better way? Any advice would be much appreciated for this newbie! Edited March 31, 2020 by SparkXC (see edit history)
