Azimutha
Hi. A Prestashop 1.6 sub-domain is cloned and arrived over to new domain www.fashionhihome.com but along the way seems to have lost the capacity at recognising login "email address and password." As you will see the site www.fashionhihome.com is on line with the front end displayed. I should say one gmail address brings a "missing password" response, but then activating the "change password" nothing arrives in the gmail Inbox!!! (No spam filter to investigate). There is a problems with this "forums/topic" app will not uploaded photos saved as .jpg but do upload using email, if you wish to send me you email address I will forward same to you. Help with rectifying the problem is appreciated. Accord Edited March 30, 2020 by Azimutha Additional information (see edit history)
Azimutha
Hi. Thank you for attempting to rectify the problem. I have moved the login process to an older machine which displays the login (blue circle with yellow key) indicating my email address is valid. In addition your password reset also arrive and worked as expected resetting the new password. However a similar occurrence happens "Error one attempt failed" Reset password and so. The new password was entered by hand and rewritten in rxt and pasted, neither brought the desired results but another 6 hour wait. For comparison purposes using the same procedure another Prestashop domain www.hihomerealestate.com is accessible whereas www.fashionhihome.com is not which indicates the problem lies with you internal processes. Don't you have a better solution to reset thing at your end? My suggestion for a solution is for you to replace the contents of the existing domain www.fashionhihome.com with a fresh Prestashop version 1.6.1.17 install, whatever you think best as long as the replacement has the same look and feel to the present one, test it to prove all image with their links are working and send me you preferred login password with time delay to change on first login. During a fresh install it's not a worry to loose any previous content. Another suggestion; I offer you a free domain to work on. Azimutha
Hi Prestashop. You robot programmed by somebody is not functioning as expected, look at the attachment below, it's promising but one needs a healthy scepticism before believing in promises that don't arrive. In short language, not any time has an email from the Puffin arrived in my Gmail inbox. do you think the fault is with Gmail not accepting mail from Prestashop or is Prestashop Puffin playing tricks? In all seriousness if it is is the domain itself internally that responds to lost password requests could the problem be with the hosting with GoDaddy? I find it strange before I cloned the sub-domain site www.fashion.hihomereatestare the site was accessible. I do know a guy by the name of "Paul" had a hand is messing thing up had played with the www.fashionhihome.com hosting htaccess file, brought the site down 404 which he later restored from a backup after that incident the restore-password function failed to work similarly as to what you can see in this jpeg image. Instead of having to suffer from multiple 6-hour waits a human face sending an email would prove your interest that would not go far amiss. Nobody in their right mind can rely totally on automated robot service to run their life, take heed of the coronavirus COVID-19 virus to prove that point. Send me an email with your progress report.
