I have been facing a couple of issues issues regarding categories after upgrading to version 1.7.6.
After I edit the details of an existing category, following 2 bugs occur:
1) If I try to browse to the (sub)category page on the frontent, without being logged in, I am getting the "You do not have access to this category" error message. I have not changed the group access options while editing. The category page is enabled for guest visitors as well. Updating the category group access to the default, or enabling all the groups does not help either.
2) The category is not listed anymore in the category tree of the "Edit product" back office page. I think this error occurs when I reorder a sub category inside its parent category, not when I edit it.
For both bugs I have found following workaround: I disable the (sub)category and re-enable it. This has always worked but it's not a clean solution. Especially the first bug is pretty serious.
Has anyone faced the same issues?
