(Workaround) How to add currency label in product price ?

Hi There,

I am using PS 1.7 for while, recently a customer raised a concern about confusion on our price.

Our online shop (https://cop9gun.com/prshop175) display either US Dollar or Hongkong Dollar. Customers are able to select which currency they prefer, BOTH use "$" as currency symbol.

However, Without currency label, customers confused the actual amount ....

I would like to know how to change "$" into "US$" for US Dollar and "HK$" for Hongkong Dollar.
In fact, I browse online and found topic to change "...translations/cldr/main--en-US--currencies ... I tried and clear cache, but no effect at all...

Any comment/help would be greatly appreciated !

say, currency Id is 1, what should I do ?

I thought this can be changed by the choice of customer's selection on currency !

I tried to play with CLDR but never work. Just saw a post and said PS changed the CLDR in 1.7.6.x.

I gave up and I modified the `ps_currency_lang` content directly.
