Cocomo
Hi, I am on Prestashop 1.6.0.14 and for security reason, i would like to change the url just of my backoffice with adding some numbers for example. I read, i have to change by FTP the name of the folder of my backoffice. But whan i do that, i can't display my "new backoffice with the new url, the page doesn't appeared, the server search and search, F5, and search... Is it normal, is there a time to wait to be ok ? Thank you
NemoPS
This is odd, are you sure it's spelled correctly? If it is, maybe try using an incognito window. Apart from that I'd say upgrade to the latest 1.6 if you don't have any hardcoded modification, the .0.x were quite bugged
Cocomo
Ok, thank you I will retry and yes, i would do a upgrade. I just a little fear because it is a big website The click and upgrade doesn't propose 1.6.1 I have to test in my localhost first Thanks !! NemoPS
You can download the latest 1.6, put it in the admin/autoupgrade folder and upgrade to that package. I still recommend doing it on a staging site or locally first, of course. Ideally on the same server, like in a subdomain dev.site.com
