Category languages wont update and problem editing/adding product attributes 1.4

Hey guys, i am having a nightmare time upgrading to 1.4 from 1.3.

First i had this Stock movement problem, but was able to fix this by setting the default Stock movement to increase. Whats very stange is that my Stock movement options i have 6, 4 of them blank and 2 of them in german (i guess ) saying erhohen reduzieren.

Big problem i have is that i cant add or edit attributes, i keep getting Error This combination already exists....but it does not, does not matter what i do, even if i just want to edit an attributes stock, same error....any ideas??

Next big problem i have is that the Categories will not keep their original translations. My shops default language is Estonian, but thats the only language that works. Example in my 1.3 shop i have estonian, english, latvian etc etc, when i change the language by clicking the flag, everything changes, category translations, menus, products etc. In 1.4 shop, everything works, such as products translations, menus etc but the categories, they are still the same (estonian) no matter what flag i click.
