Site hors service - Plantage après suppression tmp

Bonsoir,

Afin de récupérer de l'espace sur mon hébergeur, j'ai supprimé sur mes deux boutiques qui ont la même configuration, même thème, même versions php et presta etc... les images contenues dans le dossier images/tmp 

Pour le premier site aucun problème, 8000 suppressions, pour le second 10 000 suppressions et oh : plantage.

J'ai tenté de faire la manip inverse, de remettre les fichiers supprimés (puisque par sécurité j'avais fais une sauvegarde) et ... pas de changement, les mêmes erreurs... 
Dois-je supprimer le dossier var/cache/dev ? ainsi que vendor/smarty ?

En désactivant le mode debug j'ai pu récupérer l'accès à la boutique, j'ai supprimé le var/cache/dev, et je vois qu'un module newsletter s'est ajouté. Impossible de le supprimer via le panneau d'admin puisque je suis déconnectée tous les 2 clics, impossible également de le supprimer via le ftp puisque le dossier n'existe pas... impossible également de "l'effacer" par un display:none puisque la fiche css ne se met pas à jour.. à ne rien y comprendre alors que j'ai fais la même manipulation sur l'autre site sans aucun problème. Si quelque sait comment résoudre le souci des déconnexions intempestives et de supprimer un module qui n'existe pas... Merci
