stefanosm
Hi,How can I change the order of the countries in the country list in the registration form? If I rename the countries to 01.USA, 02.Canada,... it is ok, but i don't want to see the numbers there.Any help is appreciated!Stevep.s. I am using PS v. 1.3.1.
outlet.ee
I would also loke to have that, so in a result there will be the most common countries in my shop listed first and the rest after them.
ChrisLNZ
You could probably do it by editing the DB table - through phpmyadmin.Alternatively go into BO and edit each country - e.g. the 1st is Germany - if you want it to be USA you would need to switcheach countries setting. outlet.ee
Well, I tried to do it via DB now. The countries are still listed alphabetically in quick-order, so is the country with ID 1 in the section S. It must be the script which orders them How to change it? noesac
Has anyone managed to figure this out yet?I think the best option would be to put the top countries at the top, separated by a dotted line. I've seen this done a lot, e.g.USACanadaUK-------------------------AlbaniaAustraliaBraziletc.
outlet.ee
Actually I just did. I will put the top country names between -- -- and alphabetically sorted it gives you these first. You have to do it for each language individually:-- USA ---- Canada ---- UK --————————————-AlbaniaAustraliaBrazil
noesac
Great!! I wonder if it will cause problems with PayPal payments though, I remember I got some US states spelt wrong and it kept failing.
outlet.ee
I didn't think of that but on the other hand PayPal should get the country info by ID or ISO code. Please let me know of the result, I planned to do it in a week.

noesac
Ok I got a few orders over the weekend, it's perfectly fine. You're probably right, it uses the ISO codes and not the name.
