ldbn
Hi, So I've been using Prestashop to maintain my company's website, and today someone went and changed the homepage and I'm assuming they directly modified the code, this ended up breaking a module which no longer shows. My hooks haven't changed and I was wondering if there was maybe a way to re-generate my homepage from the hooks? I've tried to find other posts with similar problems but I haven't found any. Please help or redirect me to similar posts I may have missed.
NemoPS
there isn't, the only way is to find the code that has been modified. Did they edit the template or a hook? If it's the template and it's only the homepage, try index.tpl (1.6)
ldbn
We're using prestashop 1.7 and I think they directly modified the template but they're not answering. The Module that broke is Homepage Products Pro, I've tried removing it and re-adding it but that won't change anything Edited February 18, 2020 by ldbn additional information (see edit history)
NemoPS
have you tried clearing the cache after removing it? anyway if it's a template in the theme, reach the theme folder via ftp or file manager, and look at the timestamp of the "last modified" date. You can see if any of those files has been recently edited. If so, you can either try fixing it or replace it with a vanilla one from the theme's original zip (if you can get it) or a backup. ldbn
Clearing the cache doesn't help and we don't have other versions of the file on hand
