Module Occassions reminder

I'm urgently looking for a module that lets registered customer store their important dates (partners birthday, anniversary, auntie Jeans birthday etc etc) and then notifies them a few days in advance. The idea being that it sends an email say, with a link to the relevant section of our cards/gifts shop.

I've found mention of one back in 2009 but can't seem to find anything on it since about v1.2.

Any thoughts, ideas etc on this would be gratefully received.
