Jupiterr Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 You should use Jpeg for photos and Gifs for small icons or logos. Keep in mind that sometimes the extension could be .jpg but it isn't the real format. You can open it with your image software and save it again as a Jpeg. Good luck. Jupiterr Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Paint.net and Gimp are Ok. You can try VSO Image Resizer to adapt the size from your photos to the web. Jupiterr Posted April 6, 2011 Share Posted April 6, 2011 They are both free. VSO Image-Resizer only shows a windows for 3 seconds if you have the free version.What photo are you trying to upload? One from the internet or from your camera? Try to open it with GIMP and save it as .png or .jpg, resize it with VSO and then try again to upload the photo.Good luck.
