JS files have unreadable TOKEN and broke Prestashop

Recommended Posts

Hi,

never before had so strange behavior. My website working online fine. But when I pull all file with FileZilla and try to work locally all JS files have strange TOKEN. It seems it is not UTF-8... If I add new JS files it start working perfectly. How can i regenerate TOKEN? Any help appreciated.

Already tired:

- Cache clear

- changing from PHP 7.0 to 7.1

- turning off "increased security mode" in Preferences / General

- delete /var/cache

What do you mean by strange token? Getting the "unexpected token..." error after editing any files? If so, change your editor, try a simple text file.
