PRODUCT QUANTITY / PRICE QUESTION

Product X = $10

If the customer wants 2 x product X, that will be $10 + $10 under normal circumstances, but what if I want to reward the customer for buying two of the same product and sell that for $8.

I saw online stores that do that but I don't know what module / logic is at play in the backend to make that possible.

Essentially it comes down to - the more the quantity increase, the more the price of the product will decrease  

Please point me in the right direction
