Change the product reference to product ID

Hello,

 

I would  like to use product ID as product reference. When I add a new product the product reference will be autogenerated using last product ID + 1.

Do you know how can I do it?

I think you can create module and use some hook like actionProductUpdate or similar and then set in it reference number. If you want this for existing already products you can make it by db query.
