Module Contact form doesn't send email

In prestashop 1.7.6.2 contact form doesn't send email and in back office (Advanced Parameters -> E-mail) is not reported

I tried in 3 different clean installations with classic theme, both with PHP mail() and SMTP.

Instead the Mail Alert Module works correctly.

Hey there, same problem here

Since updating to 1.7.6.2. from 1.7.6.0, the contact form module doesnt send emails, throws a generic error message and the console doesn't give much info.

The Mail Alerts module works as intended
