hitin
Happy New Year People! 💥✨ Wish you all a lot of success in 2020. Problem: With new year we want to update our website design. However, we are not unable to switch between theme properly. Situation: We have two themes, Theme A and Theme B (new theme). Both themes are developed by same theme company. We uploaded Theme B and then uninstalled Theme A. Then we activated Theme B, however, the system doesn't show footer and some other design issues are there. We are suspecting it is to do with the same table names and module names used by both themes, since both theme are made by one company. We are now planning to remove all the theme related data and bring our site back to classic theme, so that we can do a clean installation for New Theme (B) and give our website a new look. Looking forward to get your help.
luishuaymana
Hello, happy holidays. Look at your idea of returning to the classic theme is perfect. Normally when I change design I do what you mention, change to the classic theme and remove all the modules installed with the theme and clean the bd and then reinstall the new theme. So you make sure you start everything clean with an updated theme.
