Blank front page but back office works fine

Hello everyone,

I've looked everywhere with no luck, so I'd greatly appreciate your help.

I installed Prestashop 1.7.6.2 with clean installation, and then used instructions from here: https://devdocs.prestashop.com/1.7/basics/keeping-up-to-date/migration/ to migrate my database from 1.6.

I managed to sort out some bugs with the data and the backoffice seems to be working ok.

However, my front page is completely blank (other than the logo). (It's here if you want to have a look: http://alexisport.com/el/)

Do you have any idea as to what might be wrong here?

So I've tried a few urls and they seem to be working fine (e.g. http://alexisport.com/en/3-women), so it's just the home page that doesn't display properly.

It's my understanding that when you land in the homepage, the file index.php is run. I had a look at it and it seems to be loading data from config/config.inc.php.

Is there something in particular in that file that I should change?

I think I figured out the issue. Being not experienced, I thought that in order to update to version 1.7 I had to copy and paste my whole database, which I found later included themes and modules. So no wonder why it wasn't working.

I reinstalled Prestashop and then only migrated selected tables from the database, the ones that were linked to products and categories, instead of the whole thing. It seems to be working alright now.
