Prestshop_alt theme help???

hi all, i am new to prestahop and have done some work on my site http://www.electricitysmart.com.au

as you can see i have added the Top horizontal lavalamp menu v1.2 module but i cant seem to get rid of the categories above it??? i mean, i have looked everywhere for any reference using firebug but i guess my noobness is getting the better of me.. ggrrrr... lol...

also, i hope im not asking too much , the stores link in the information block doesnt show up in the CMS tab in tools.. the other links are there but the stores link is not??? this ones got me stumped!!!

any help would be greatly appreciated!!! i have tried to fix these problems and prefer to do things myself but i just cant find the code to edit... like i said... NOOB!!!

by the way, im using PrestaShop™ 1.4.0.17

EDIT: ok so i have been able to fix the menu problem myself... but i still cant get rid of the stores link???

Hi Ben,
To disable the "categories" block in the left column, go into your backoffice, modules, front office features (bottom of the list). When you click on that, you should find "categories block v.2" (on mine it's the fourth one down the list) - just click on "disable" and away it goes...
Not sure about the stores link - I know I've seen it somewhere, but don't remember where :-S

thanks for your reply crystalphoenix... i did get the menu disabled - must have overlooked the menu module when i installed the new one... dderrrr!!! lol..

i guess ill just keep looking for this stores link.. ill post it if and when i find it... hahaha

Ive been having the same problem and its bugging me! HOW DO YOU GET RID OF THAT STORES LINK!?!?!!
