Different product page for mobile phones

Hello,

Is there a way to have two different product page layouts?  For desktops and large devices I want to use a layout similar to this one. The problem with that type of layout is that has a horrible user experience for small devices and I can't transform listed image gallery into one with thumbnails (like the default one) using just a responsive design.

So I'm thinking to make two product layouts and call the right one depending on the device. Does everybody has a solution to this problem?
