martin_88
Hello, My website became really, really slow. Impossible to connect in the backend, it takes minutes to log in, open a page, configuration, module or whatever. I tried to look up on Google Page speed and other, seem I have issue with "Reduce server response times (TTFB)". I try to debug, look at the log, nothing's really there. I set up the profiling tool but I don't get what to look at : Using PS 1.7.6 Using OVH mutu server. Any idea where I can look up ?
NemoPS
That's a lot of rows, a vanilla 1.7.6 has about 360. Can you check the table and see if anything looks odd? Like duplicate entries
NemoPS
I mean ps_configuration and its _lang counterpart
martin_88
How do you see that I have lots of rows ? I have 2170 entry in PS_Configuration and less that 500 in PS_congiration_lang. How to clean this up ?
NemoPS
In your query, it says it's over 6 thousands it depends, how do the entries look? Over 2k is still a lot even with several custom modules. Do you have a multistore environment? That would explain it.
martin_88
Hum, I don't have multi-store. I'll look at it and try to identify the duplicates. any advice on how to proceed ?
El Patron
it would be helpful to have front office url, you can delete later
NemoPS
order them by name in the table, you'll immediately see if there are duplicates. Just check a few pages to be sure
El Patron
you can simply empty the three _connections tables without issue....

Trying to solve a issue with a slow frontpage, for a customer. Truncating the connections tables, solved the issue. Perfect! thank you.
