PHP PrestaShop Info tool

I got this tool from links above - everything is good except directory section.

Directories #     Is Writable
var/cache     No
var/logs     No

I tried to create var/logs directory and set 755 or 777 to it also I used chown to change owner from root/wheel to www/www

I tried to change httpd.conf to say to apache server to put logs to /var/logs and it puts logs there but PS info tool still shows "No" to var/logs directory.

What I'm doing wrong?
