Paypal on 1.6 - Missing images and code/text formatting

I've installed the PayPal payment module as I want this to be my main payment type for now (keeping the costs low until I know if the shop will take off)

However the formatting seems allover the place on the standard theme in 1.6

1)

As below, the image is missing. I've searched online and found the logos.xml doesn't accommodate for my shop being in a subfolder (/shop/)

/shop/modules/paypal/logos.xml

2)

The text is weird. I've looked into the module and can see the code but not 100% how I can resolve this?

 

3)

The express checkout button is basically in the footer of the product..

Can I remove this position and add it into the "add to cart" or somewhere to make it more compact?

 

4)

Can I add the above express buton into the dropdown cart option?
