roo10
I upgraded my shop from PS v1.6.1.24 to v1.7.6.1 using manual method as explained here. Upgrade was successful without any errors and everything seems to be working fine except one critical issue. Check attached screenshot and here is the shop URL. I can't add product to cart and all the values are 0.00. The cart stays empty even after page reload. Note that file permissions are set correctly and all caches are cleared. tuk66
Your shop is in the Maintenance mode so we can't see it.
roo10
Yes, I had to put the store in maintenance mode but this issue is quite common after upgrading PS from 1.6 to 1.7. You can also share your inputs in this post where few others also faced this issue.
tuk66
I see, but things don't work this way. If you want a developer to fix an issue, he must see it online, check the browser console, try some actions and so on.
roo10
Okay, I have enabled the site for next one hour so you can check it. On inspecting through browser console, notice that add to cart ajax request status is OK and new cart is added in ps_cart table.
tuk66
I think I saw something similar and it was a bug in ajax.php file from the shopping cart module. I'm not sure if we can fix it on the forum.
shana0780
Look in the logs in the backoffice. I had the same, and for it was a problem with Geolocation. I have to say "NO" under International - Localisation - Geolocation with IP
ricardo.moreira
Thank you shana0780! I have struggled with this issue for a long time now and your solution is the only one that worked for me! I wonder why the geolocation would affect the checkout cart being empty. Thank you!
