tillidan
Hi all,I'm using Presta 1.4.0.17 and I found this problem: If you select in BO preferences: Use Smarty 3 then the web doesnt work good. The problem is once a user is registered, if he tries to change his send direction or update it, there is a fail in forms and in center colum of the web. However if you use Smarty 2 there is no problem. The best is a default theme compatible with smarty 3 so you can start changing it to achieve a custom theme compatible.Anyone had the same problem or know the solution? Thanks,Javier. hups
HiThink I have a similar problem. Same version of Prestashop as you and I use the defualt theme. If i swith over to smarty 3 then the middle column of all my pages disapear. navigation menus are there still but any content in the middle of the site isn't. I assumed with the presta update the default theme would be compatible?Did you ever figure this problem out?ThanksRob
tillidan
Hello, there must be a error if you have made some changes. I installed the shop again, a clean installation, and the shop works ok, so i suppose i changed some module and it produced a fail. The default theme is ok with smarty3. hups
I thought it was ok with smarty3. I downloaded a couple of tpl files from the theme on the server and they did not match the files I had when i downloaded the 1.4.0.17 version from prestashop to pwerform the upgrade. So maybe the theme did not update correctly. Think I should upload the theme again???? I can sense many errors and problems if i do this though.....
