charrabennett
I have installed prestashop entirely - made it to the Ready Set Go page. Deleted the install and read me files and renamed the admin file. BUT when I try to login with the login details i created in the install process - it tells me:There is 1 error 1. Employee does not exist or password is incorrect. So I have no access to the store at all that i just created. I have removed and reinstalled prestashop twice and still get the same problem.See attachments. How do I now add a user if I cant login to the Back Office? shokinro
I guess you maybe input wrong email or password as you input at setup. If it is brand new store you just installed, then the fastest way maybe re-install it.(you have drop all tables if you want to use the same database) If your store has been run for a while and the data can not be remove, please visit this to find a way to get into to admin site. charrabennett
The other way to change the password that works is:1) Register yourself on your store with the password that you want to be the admin password.2) Goto PhpMyAdmin >> Customer >> copy the password key from user ID you just registered.3) Goto PhpMyAdmin >> Employee >> paste the copied key on the password column of your admin ID.Ofcourse these are encrypted so you should not change anything while you copy paste.Thats it
