dilegno
I'm trying to understand what is being offered in the vast array of themes. The sorting filters don't seem to provide any real guidance. Near as I can tell "Industrial" could be "Adult" just by changing the images. It is also not clear to me what the individual sample images are trying to demonstrate.I'm eager to learn so I can make the right choice.
cagrie
I didnt get exactly what you mean, but I advise you ignore the template "theme" and pick whatever you like. One of my jewelry websites is a modified version of a lingerie store theme.personally, i'd pick one of dg craft's themes, i think matrice has been updated to 1.4and so on. i hope this helps. Jon_King
cagrie is absolutely right. Choose based on the layout to suit your products. Most times you can ignore what photos and products are actually in the template as you will replace those with ones from your own offering. dilegno
I do try to ignore the images. But I am interested in understanding :1) the number of images sizes available2) whether the design controls the image sizes and can they be altered 3) whether category and sub-category pages can be somehow different in layout4) whether screen width is set by the designer or by the user (most of my users are below 1600 width)5) when multiple pages are displayed or available for examination on Prestashop-addons or Templatemonster it is not always clear as to what is being demonstrated.Sorry I've never used skins before so this is all new to me.
