neterman
Hello, I run a store on Prestashop 1.6.1.23 and use the "pos-vonia 2 ver. 1.0" template. The server is set to php 5.6. I wanted to change to a higher version of 7.0 or 7.1, but this proved impossible. Unable to get to the site because of an HTTP 500 error message and information that the server cannot handle this request. Hosting claims that everything is ok on their side One of the programmers stated after entering the admin panel that the fault was on the side template. I wrote to support, but it's still quiet. Have any of you encountered such a problem and been able to solve it?
Sasni
Turn on debug mode. In PHP select extension : fileinfo, intl, zip, maybe ioncube_loader, mbstring, mcrypt, gd if the problem disappears disable debug mode.

So far I understand the issue its rather a site issue. @neterman deactivate some extensions and note which ones you deactivated, after that try the update again.
