Products Category v1.2.1 position

Hi,

The products category module, which shows other products in the same category is very usefull for me.

The position default is not right for me though. It's positioned below the product pic, but ABOVE the product details. I want the product details to show second and then on the bottom show the products category module. How can I do that?

Btw, It can't be done using the positions, cause it's already on the bottom. The product details part is not there so I can't position it under it.

Hi, I was having the same problem with my shops running on 1.2.5 and 1.3.7 and this post helped me: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/48761/

However, I just did a clean installation with 1.4 and there it didn't work. Maybe someone else has a solution for 1.4 to move this "in the same category" module below the product details.

Hi Swissmark, this was exactly what I needed, did the trick! Thanks a lot for reply, helps us out a lot really!!

Hope you will find a solution for the 1.4 problem. That's the reason I'm waiting for the upgrade, the shop is working just good at the moment If I run into the solution for 1.4 I'll let you know.

For everybody reading this post. The solution at this linked topic worked for me on v. 1.4.2.5.

 

But you need to ignore the lines given in the answer and just place {$HOOK_PRODUCT_FOOTER} just before the "Customizable products" line in the product.tpl .
