GeekyFuroshiki
Hi, I'm a new user, so new I haven't even logged in yet, but unfortunately I don't seem able to. I bought a domain and plan with OVH that includes Prestashop. I've installed the module (1.7.5.1), and have transferred over my domain, so this morning I went to the admin login to get started with Prestashop. However, every time I put in my login details and click login, I just get returned to a blank login screen. There are no errors in the console, I've changed my password, but it won't let me, what can I do?
NemoPS
Did you try an incognito window? It seems to be a recurring issue. If that works, try disabling the various dynamic cookie options in the admin preferences
GeekyFuroshiki
Would that be the admin preferences for my chrome browser?
GeekyFuroshiki
Incognito did nothing, nor did removing the prestashop related cookies. I've tried emailing prestashop support but not had any reply. Surely there is some way to log in to this site? So far I can't say I'm very impressed
GeekyFuroshiki
Got to the bottom of it elsewhere - the installation had failed the first time, so I had to go into ftp, delete the index.html folder, then reinstall manually: https://github.com/ovh/docs/blob/develop/pages/web/hosting/cms_manual_installation_prestashop/guide.en-gb.md
Veronicazale
Incognito would not solve this issue. Just try & clear your history along with web cookies & disable all the extra extension for flawless functioning of the Internetspeed Edited April 2, 2020 by Veronicazale (see edit history)
