I want to create a commercial site using prestashop 1.7 and is there any commercial/enterprise version to buy.If not what are (if there any) the security vulnerabilities that I need to be concerned about.

Hello, Until moving from from v1.5.6.3 to v1.6.1.4, I used 1-Click upgrade with success. Now on v1.6.1.4, my account access is a white page - the link to .../fr/authentification?back=my-account - points to a blanc page, also on the default theme. Could you please help me how to troubleshoot this issue? Other front- and back-office functions work fine and the DB is ok having all customers records. Pouvez-vous svp m'aider à corriger cette erreur? Le reste de front- et back-office fonctionne et la BD contient tous les enregistrements clients. We have implemented the Agile Multiple Seller software into our webstore - thereportstore.com, whereby Resellers upload digital downloadable files. These files relate to various "versions" of software. ie Sage 300, Version 2014 for example. The Resellers are very interested in being able to attach a further "choice" to the item which would allow the buyer to purchase an upgrade of the item, at a cost of say $100, or a % of the total item at time of purchase. Kinda like pre-buying insurance for the new product when it becomes available. This is quite a large request, and I am at a loss to find something suitable. I know Prestashop just adds a 1,2,3, item to purchased product that has a new upgrade, but there is never a cost associated with it. It would be great if whenever there is an upgrade for any of your great products, this option would be available to you as well, then I could use it too! Is there any software out there that we could implement to do something like this? Perhaps something that we could implement for now, and be able to send the files out later, when the product is actually out? Basically an "extra charge" button at time of purchase? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your thoughts. Lise

These days I'm starting so many topics 'cause developing a module makes me reflecting about different aspects about Prestashop platform Btw, I tried to install the module I'm developing on the 1.4.9.0 version (of Prestashop, of course) and the installation fails at all. It gives me a blank page with no errors and no alert messages, so I can't figure out what's wrong. I could study how the modules for 1.4.x version are installed to find differences in the process and maybe fix the problem, but the question I've in my mind is more generic: How do we (the developers) have to manage the modules' compatibility? If I develop (as I'm doin') a module starting on the 1.6.x PS version (the newer one), how can I assure and manage the compatibility for the older PS versions? How I change and structure my code? Are there guide lines for doin' this? And if not, maybe someone from the PS staff could write a guide all about compatiblity. I've read the developer's guide but I can't remember anything about it. What do you think about? I'd love to do it myself (I love to write documentation, yes... maybe I'm crazy), but I've not enough experience in PS development

Buenas amigos, tal como dice el titulo, tengo el theme comprado de themeforest http://themeforest.net/item/mega-store-prestashop-responsive-template/6511851 y dice ser compatible con las versiones de prestashop 1.5.6.0, 1.5.6.1, 1.5.6.2, mi pregunta es si este mismo template me sirve o no me dará problemas cuando me actualice a la version de prestashop 1.6.. Espero sus comentarios.. Saludos!

Hello. I've been given a Prestashop backup from a possible customer in order me to install in my server and take care of his online shop. I want to be sure everything is ok before I accept the job. I have found that the shop runs Prestashop 1.5.4.1 and the theme, once I found it on theme forest searching by its name, says it's compatible from 1.5.5 to 1.5.6.2+ My question, are there known issues in this situations? The theme looks awful, and I want to be sure I can fix it from its options, before accepting the job. Sadly, the shop owner don't have the theme installer, and can't ask for it to the former developer, because personal problems. Thanks in advance for your help

Bonjour. Suite à l'annonce de 1&1 de passer tous les hebergements mutualisés en PHP 5.4 au 1er avril prochain je me pose quelques questions. Notamment sur la survie de mes anciens Prestashop. J'ai par exemple un Presta 1.2.4 hebergé chez eux. Cette version peut-elle tourner en PHP 5.4 ?
