Hi I want to change the "Store information" on the store information page (http://www.example.com/prestashop/en/contact-us). The standard text is "PrestaShop United Kingdom". How do I change this text?

You are currently connected under the following domain name stocklii.com This is different from the domain name set in the "SEO & URLs" tab. If this is your main domain, please change it now. I want the stocklii.com to disapear. stocklii.com is my development site and i want to change it for the name of my shop: www.sobumma.com. how can i change it. I'm also connected on stocklii.com admin panel and when i try to connect at my new one : www.sobumma.com/adminthing, it just reload the page. How can i fix this ? I really need help, this is for a client.

I have for the 20+ time done a fresh install on clean fresh hosting and when I tried to load images I get this error. Impossible to resize the image into PLEASE HELP!

Hello there again.., I have some issues with the prestashop and I hope someone will be able to help to get where I want bit by bit and this thread will be usefull for other " Noobie " people like me. I do use custom theme with Prestashop 1.5.6.2 Layout: CLICK ME 1. Currency block supposed to be near the permanent links on the left where is the free space. It has moved himself.. Click for screenshot where it should be Click for screenshot where it is now 2. Then you click on the Category it gives a short brief what is in it. The problem is that it shows the short brief on top and then just under it gives a full brief that makes it look weird. SCREENSHOT 3. Changing the " submit " button at the end of the comment under blog. It is a bit of the place as well. Screenshot 4. Ciao a tutti come da titolo ho questo problema nella scheda prodotto dal backend. Quando apro la scheda prodotto e clicco sull'immagine mi appare questa scritta "The requested content cannot be loaded". Cosa può essere successo. E' possibile risolvere questo problema? grazie

So, I've installed Prestashop onto my GoDaddy hosted website and have it set up to the point that it has the default theme displayed with my custom logo. Other than that I have not been able to make any other changes so as to reflect my brand. I will need to learn how to edit color, etc, but I don't believe that will be very hard since there already seems to be so much information on that subject. What I need help with is how to completely remove certain elements and/or edit them. For example: I would like to change elements of the footer, such as the free shipping icon, since I will not be offering that. I would also like to completely remove the "OUR STORE(S)!" displayed on the lower right hand column and edit the "CONTACT US" because I would like to show my own contact information for customer services. Those are just examples and I'm sure if I learned how to edit/remove those I can figure out everything else I need to do. I am looking forward to what responses the community has to offer and I am very excited to get started on my website. Thanks- Wizzy P.S. I believe it is relevant to say that I am at least average when it comes to HTML/CSS coding. I taught myself a couple years ago and since then have made several simple websites (obviously not ecommerce though lol).

"The database selection cannot be made" error is driving me crazy. I have followed the instructions as outlined. I have searched extensively for days both on google and PS forum for answers. Please pardon me is this has been asked somewhere. Below are the steps I have followed:- Developed Prestashop store on local machine. Link to prestashop on my local machine is http://localhost/prestashop/prestashop/ I have uploaded all the contents of my prestashop to the root "www" folder of my hosting. I have created a database on my hosting account with same name as on my local machine via cpanel. I have also added database user with same username and password same as in my local machine. I have exported all the tables on my database in my local machine and have imported them all into the database on my hosting account. I have done everything according to the book but I am still getting this error "The database selection cannot be made". Please can somebody point me to what I am doing wrong.
