Hello, we do not sell digital products. So we do not have to pay the taxes from the different countries in the EU we send the goods. But we have another special setup: There are 3 warehouses in our shop - one in Germany and two in Austria. When goods pass a border physically then for B2B orders there are no taxes at all when selling B2B. So, for example: 1.) Byer: Company in Austria Seller: Company in Austria (Shop Owner) Warehouse: Austria --> Is a B2B order, but 20% tax have to be calculated (because no border crossed) 2.) Byer: Company in Austria Seller: Company in Austria (Shop Owner) Warehouse: Germany --> Is a B2B order, but 0% tax have to be calculated (intra-Community supp) 3.) Byer: Company in Germany Seller: Company in Austria (Shop Owner) Warehouse: Austria --> Is a B2B order, 0% tax have to be calculated (intra-Community supp) 4.) Byer: Company in Germany Seller: Company in Austria (Shop Owner) Warehouse: Germany --> Is a B2B order, but 19% tax have to be calculated (because no border crossed) Now the problem: Taxes are not calculated in dependance of the warehouse and if borders are crossed or not. Taxes are just calculated in dependance of Byer Address <-> Seller Address. But that is not correct. Thank you, best regards, Andreas Huber

Hi! I searched on internet and forum but cant find the right solution. Using Prestashop 1.5.6.1 Prestashop calculates tax based on product price and rounds it. Nothing wrong with that if your customer is buying 1 or 2 same products. But when your order 10 or 30 same items, the final tax amount is wrong. Sometimes the difference is more than 1 euro! Is it possible to calculate the tax over the total price instead of product price? Where should i be to change it (which file) and what should I change. Or is it possible to stop rounding the price on 2 (or more) decimals? Hope someone can help Regards, Keron

Prestashop 1.6.0.8 Hi sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, I'm new to the forum and still finding my way around. When I'm updating products and prices in the back office, it is not auto calculating the prices/tax. I have set up: Tax Rule (UK 20%) Taxes (UK 20%) Have enabled the tax have enabled 'Display tax in the shopping cart' enabled: 'Display tax label' under localization > countries > UK But nothing is being calculated in the back office and as a result nothing in the front office. I can make a change to the product.tpl and product-list.tpl to display calculate the tax and show the price with tax added, but I would really like to get taxes working in the back office so I can use invoicing etc. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Joe

Hi, I am using prestashop 1.5.4.1 upgraded from 1.5.3 on a live server. The problem is that the shop by default shows the 5% percent tax added to all the products and when checking out depending on the address of the customer modify the tax. Does anybody know how can I fix this problem? Should I modify the taxes? Please kindly let me know what should I do? Best Regards, Mojtaba

On the Cart Summary page it has a line for "Total Tax". When the page first loads it starts calculating the tax and would normally show the loading image then switch to the Tax amount. The loading image is at this path: /img/loader.gif This used to work and now it just shows a broken image until it calculates the tax. If I put the following path in my browser (www.MyDomain.com/img/loader.gif) it shows the image with no issue. I've checked the folder on my hosting and the file is there in the root/img folder. Any ideas on what is causing this or a fix for it? See Screenshot

I ran into a VAT calculation problem in Prestashop 1.4.6.2 when using reductions: One of my shops uses 8% VAT for Swiss customers and no tax (!) for customers from Germany and Austria because there's no VAT on exports from Switzerland to other countries. There's only one currency in use, CHF (Swiss Francs). Today, I realized that something is wrong with the tax calculation when using reductions; a customer from Germany placed an order and had a tax deduction which was double the amount it should have been: The price of the product that the customer ordered is CHF 299.00 incl. 8% VAT; that's the "retail price with tax" (without reduction) We sell this product with a reduction of CHF 140.00, so the resulting price incl. 8% VAT is CHF 159.00 Because there's no VAT on exports from Switzerland to other countries, the VAT amount should be calculated and deducted like this: 159.00 / 108 * 8 = 11.77 CHF (VAT amount) and then CHF 159.00 - 11.77 CHF = CHF 147.23 (that would be correct) But in this case, Prestashop calculated as follows: CHF 299.00 / 108 * 8 = CHF 22.14 (VAT amount, notice that the wrong amount is used for tax calculations; CHF 299.00 instead of CHF 159.00; that's the retail price without reduction!) and then CHF 159.00 - CHF 22.14 = 136.86 (see the difference of CHF 10.37 compared to the correct amount stated above?) The customer didn't use any vouchers or other discount types. Does anyone of you know how to solve this issue? This is causing a loss of money each time a customer from Germany or Austria places an order in my shop - and it gets even worse at higher amounts ... my shop offers reductions on almost all products in the catalogue. Any help is greatly appreciated! Tom
