Hi I am trying to create a Child Theme based on an existing theme. I managed to get the child theme registered and inheriting the parent theme's dom structure, stylings and scripts. The issue I am running into is, if I create a custom.css inside child-theme/assets/css it does register nor do I see any changes on the frontend from that file. I then modified the config yaml file to include: assets: use_parent_assets: true css: all: - id: product-extra-style path: assets/css/somestyles.css media: all priority: 10000 and still nothing is happening on the frontend. BUT it completely breaks the backend! Error 500 on every page of the backend. Once I remove everything from css: on down, then the backend comes back to life. Any ideas on what's happening and how I can get this sorted out? Thanks so much! -S

I've been trying to figure out how to add and use different styles on pages created in the CMS section. Initially I added new CSS classes to the global.css file in the active theme, and setting classes specifically in code view on the CMS pages. But they seem to be ignored. Then I moved my CSS classes to the CMS.css file (also in the active theme) and removed them from global.css, clearing the cache in prestashop and in the browser. Still no effect. So here is an example of what I want to do: In the global.css for the theme, I have stylings of links used across the site. But on CMS pages I would like the links to look differently. Therefore I add a.indoc { color: #BC9B6A; outline: medium none; text-decoration: none; } a.indoc:hover { text-decoration: underline; } And when editing my CMS pages i add class="indoc" whenever I use a-tags. But they have no effect. Ideas, tips, workarounds are all very much welcome. Thanks, K

Hello everyone! Quick question... For some reason, one word on the pop-up window is styled as white, I'm just trying to change that one word to black. It is the pop-up that occurs when you click "Send to a friend" from a product page. I need to know where to go to change this if anyone knows. I've tried like every selector in product.css and global.css and nothing seems to change it. I've attached a screenshot to show what I'm talking about. It's supposed to say "Cancel or Send" (Send is a button) and the word cancel is white for some reason. Thanks in advance!

Hello fellow prestashop users! Im currently having a bit of difficulty with the "featured products on the homepage" module, as it appears to be inheriting its style from an unknown source, and not from the featuredproducts.css. Im using firebug in firefox to try and inspect the location to where its inheriting the style, but i cant find it. I want to edit the featuredproducts block without altering the product list, as i have just managed to get it aligned properly. So how can i stop the featured products block inheriting its style...from where ever it is inheritiing its style, and to style according to the featuredproducts.css. This proberbly makes no sence, but if you check out my site at www.exposeclothing.com.au and scroll down, you will see the error im facing. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank-you

Category pages styling has gone out of line? The first image on every category page has started to rise up. Our developer has tried to fix it but has no idea what is making this happen?
