In a multistore configuration using authorize.net for payment gateway how can the payment gateway be used for the 2nd, 3rd store? Authorize.net requires SSL and I am also interested in maintaining high security, so the SSL is setup on the main domain. The issue is, when setting up multistore the additional store domains are parked on the main domain, so adding SSL certificates to the 2nd and 3rd domains is not possible since they all reside on the same IP. Currently, after trying different things, the 2nd and 3rd stores generate a warning when "checkout" is clicked : " There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website. " Does anyone know of a solution to this, how can multistore run using SSL? PrestaShop version 1.6.0.8 Thank you for your time.

I am trying to install prestashop 1.6.0.6 through softaculous from arvixe server - shared ssl. I was told by the arvixe service guys that for the shared ssl, i have to select 'http' as the protocol during installation and then change the urls to the shared ssl url at the backend of prestashop. Please let me know the places where i have to change the urls to shared ssl url. i did try preferences->seo and urls but it did not work. Thanks.

Can anyone give a definitive answer on whether or not Prestashop can work with a Shared SSL, or whether it is worth the hassle to try and setup? I have read lots of posts saying it both can and cannot! I am trying to implement a Shared SSL on my store and cannot get it to work correctly. My site is www.test25.net and the secure version (Shared SSL) is at https://www.secure-ssl-servers.us/test25-net The site works fine on http: but on the secure pages at https: no styling is getting applied. When I check the code the base dir is getting set to "baseDir = 'https://secure-ssl-servers.us/';" so because of this the paths to the stylesheets etc. are not relevant. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

Hi, I hope someone can help. I've searched the forums and cannot find any identical issues. The install is located on a shared host. I wanted to have SSL active for my shop but this is the first shared host I've ever installed Prestashop on and also the first sub domain SSL I've ever used. The host has stated that I cannot have https://domainname.com but I have to have https://secure.domainname.com - I've enabled this and made sure the shop domain name for SSL is exactly that. I've then enabled SSL and all is working as it should be; contact page is secured, cart, my account etc are all working ok. I only found out there was a problem when I tried logging in the front end as a customer (without already being logged in) and the page url kept going to /authentication?back=my-account.php and not logging me in. If I disable SSL I can log in as normal and re-enable the SSL I can still view my account, make orders etc. but as soon as I click log out I cannot log back in, only when I disable the ssl can I log in. When the SSL is active the login page is covered under the SSL and there's no problems with unsecured images/links/files. When I try https://domainname.com I receive the following error message in Firefox: Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long) - I presume this is because the certificate is only for the sub domain name. What's confusing me even further is if I use another browser (I've tested Safari and IEx) I can login with SSL active but as soon as I click home or another page outside of my account, it logs me out. As mentioned above I cannot even log in with Firefox. I've deleted all my cache, cookies etc but still no joy. I've also tried enabling errors on the site and nothing is showing, I've tried force compile and nothing I've also tried editing Guest ID as mentioned on some other threads but still nothing. I wasn't able to install the certificate with this host as I do normally on a dedicated server so they installed it, according to this https://www.networki...ols/site+check/ - all is installed ok. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Prestashop version is 1.4.7.3 Thanks
