J'ai créé une catégorie "promo pour électro" pour un groupe de client uniquement. J'aimerai mettre dans cette catégorie une sélection de déclinaisons, par exemple seulement 2 déclis sur les 8 que possède un produit. Le but est d'avoir une page liste de produit normal, mais avec les attributs de la décli noté sous le nom, chaque décli en promo est affichée même si le produit "principal" doit être affiché plusieurs fois, et quand on clique dessus on arrive sur la page produit normal, mais avec la déclinaison déjà configurée. Ma solution actuelle est de créer un produit qui contient les attributs dans le nom, puis de rediriger en 301 cette page produit vers la bonne décli. Mais c'est pas fou, parce qu'un simple éditeur ne peut pas le faire, entre autre. C'est pourquoi je suis à la recherche d'un module qui pourrait faire cela (sélection de déclinaisons dans une catégorie), sur PS 1.7.8 ! Une idée ?

Hi all, I am trying to customize the header section of Default Classic Theme, been looking for some Tutorial for that BUT couldn't find any tutorial to help me get started. I have created a Child theme and now am trying to give the desired look and feel - nothing fancy just want to relocate the 'Cart' Module to the right of 'Search Module'. I will really appreciate if someone here can give me an indicator to get it done, as soon as possible. TIA

Hello I’m looking for search module. Default Prestashop Search working like that: When you type: AIR FILTER OPEL CORSA 1.7 DTI every word is searched separately. I need module or modyfication which display only products including all words typed in search. I understand that the default search engine use ‘OR’ logic: AIR ‘OR’ FILTER ‘OR’ OPEL ‘OR’ CORSA ‘OR’ 1.7 ‘OR’ DTI For me best solution is : AIR ‘AND’ FILTER ‘AND’ OPEL ‘AND’ CORSA ‘AND’ 1.7 ‘AND’ DTI Does anybody know good module which working like that? Maybe I can modyfy default search module ?

I am looking for a module with these features. the result of the search is displayed to user is like this: product category if there is no category for that, then the nearest category and if there is none of them then it is displayed the nearest product

Hi to all, I was accumulating many questions and concerns when it comes to native Prestashop search module and want to share them with the rest of the community. My thoughts are that some off these if not all are extremely important and need to be addressed immediately. Some are probably bugs, other on the other hand might be result of some other non Prestashop related stuff. First some basic info: My store is running Prestashop 1.5.4.1 It is running on a A2hosting SSD shared server located in their Iceland DC. My store URL is: www.dekom.co.rs (Serbia) Store, untill today, contains 3858 products. We are using instant search functionality. (we switched to regular search) We are using both back office and eMagicOne Manager for Prestashop to run our store and keep it up to date. These are some of the issues with the native search module that my colleagues and I came across for the last couple of months working with the PS: 1. Missing products in the search index. Products not showing in the results on the front office. This problem is quite serious. Reason why is more then obvious. If potential customers search for some spare part and don't find it, they wont buy it either. For example, I had 2 products in my store containing this phrase: "šarka BEKO". When my colleague accidentally searched for the items he only got one result in return. He found this strange because he knew we have 2 similar products both containing this phrase so he reported to me. I checked my BO and saw that Prestashop reports no missing products in the search index. I went to store Manager application, it was reporting the same thing. No items needed to be indexed. I tried deleting the cookies and browser cash. I tired searching from 3 other PCs off which 2 were totally in a different physical location. Even tried rebooting my PC Result was the same. I switched back to Store Manager application and rebuild search index just for that product which was not showing up when search was performed, and surprise that fixed the issue. So my question is: Who knows how many products are not shown in the search results but reported as indexed? And Is this Store Manager issue, Prestashop issue, bad index issue etc...? 2. Search module doesn't return product containing the string. word or a phrase that actual product name, description or some other product field contains. This is also interesting problem. I'm no expert, and I don't know how easy or hard would be to make perfect search, returning good results by all criteria but here I noticed that sometimes I got what I was looking for and sometimes I wont get product in the result list only because it contains letter or one number more then my search phrase contains. Problem when I search for one item SKU and I got the right product but beside that I get one product which not only don't have that SKU, but don't have that number anywhere in all product fields. Hello, recently I created a module for my personal needs. I have an issue with the pagination. I adapted my module to this guide http://nemops.com/creating-new-pages-in-prestashop/ and insted of GetProducts() function I created mine with a custom sql query which is based on data from the search form. Despite I make the initial 20 products to appear on the page when I press the second page of pagination the same products appear (if I store somewhere the query) or none appear (if I dont store the query). How can I fix this? Is is possible the pagination to keep the first 20 products so in the second page only the 21st product and after to appear?

My search module is not working properly. If suppose search "harddrive" is display result not same as "hard drive" with space. It is displaying different result. Both(harddrive or hard drive) are same word . So, it is require to display same result. Can you please help? How to solve it?

Hi Developers, Is there any filter module available in prestashop which filters 'AREA' based on the ZIP/PIN code entered by the user when the home page loads up. Hi gurus, I want to do a very simple modification in search module, I need to fix the search field and mantain during all session navigation. For example: If you put Ipod in search field, all the navigation since this moment should be inside Ipods. I think in session variable but I don't know where and how I need to get this session variable (inside search.php?) Can somebody give light on this? Regards.

I'm creating a website for tyres where you can search on tyres by size, eg. 225 45 18. 225 45 18 is described in the product name. WHen I search for that I'm getting more results back, results that are not equal to 225 45 18. I'm getting as followed: 225 40 17 225 45 18 225 45 17 225 50 18 225 55 18 etc .... I also played with the weight of search on productname, put it on 10 and all the rest on 0. Didn't work, can someone help me ? ------- Ik ben een website aan het bouwen voor autobanden waar je dus banden kunt zoeken per maat zoals 225 45 18. Dit nummer zit in de productnaam met daarbij de merk van de band. Wanneer ik dus het geen zoek wat ik hier boven heb vermeldt, krijg ik ook andere maten te zien zoals, 225 40 17 225 45 18 225 45 17 225 50 18 225 55 18 etc .... Ik heb wat veranderingen gedaan aan het gewicht van de zoekconditie, gewicht productnaam op 10 gezet en al de rest op 0, maar tevergeefs. Looking, the prestashop 1.4.5 template i noticed it have a search bar at the top. I've been trying to find the module in my backoffice, but haven't found it. Right now i'm running the store on prestashop's 1.4.8.2. If someone could illuminate me with this I'll really appreciate it. Thanks! -Julio
