Hi all, I have been going round and round AND ROUND in circles about this issue for a while now and still cannot solve it. I will be as detailed as I can about the issue. Overview I have a multistore install setup with 2 shops I run prestashop 1.6.1.6 The issue When editing a product (in either store) it doesn't save the information I just entered when clicking "Save and Stay" OR "Save". It just reloads the page without the information I just entered. It only manages to save the information every so often, intermittently, there doesn't seem to be a pattern, it just saves when it wants to. As you can imagine this make maintaining the store with over 2k products almost an impossible task as it take a whole day to update only a few products because of the constant re-entry needed. Other info All caches, on prestashop and on the server are disabled. There is nothing in the prestashop log. There is nothing in the servers error log. I have tried using several browsers on 3 machines in 2 locations to see if it a client side issue, it isnt. I really hope that someone has come across this issue and has been able to resolve it as I am starting to pull my hair out. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help with this issue!- 18 replies

Heloo please help to me i hawe same problem but in version 1.7.5.1 , i cant find nothing for this version only on 1.6 ... . Saving is very slow or never saving changes in product. Same problem is with show product online. PLESE HEL TO ME I NOT POWER FOR THIS MORE.

I have a problem. I had version 1.7.2.2 and i created 2-3 test products and updated them. After that i had to import csv products with their IDs and i couldn't change anything. So i updated prestashop to version 1.7.2.4 and still have problem. In console from firefox i could see http://domain.com/admin-folder/themes/new-theme/public/maps/index.php [HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable 132ms] http://domain.com/admin-folder/themes/new-theme/public/maps/application.css.map [HTTP/1.1 302 Found 2556ms] and warning The use of Mutation Events is outdated. Use MutationObserver. http://domain.com/admin-folder/themes/new-theme/public/main.bundle.js:53045:6 I looked via ftp and in http://domain.com/admin-folder/themes/new-theme/public/ there is no maps folder. I cannot do any change of my products and i get that my changes saved. No error on console, Could you please help me? Sorry for my english

Hey guys, I recently upgraded from Prestashop 1.7.2.4 to 1.7.3.2, hoping that I could save product edits without seeing the "Unable to save settings" pop-up, but the issue still appears, just for products with multiple combinations (over 60, 70 combinations per product). I have a product as a reference, product which has 257 combinations. When I try to save it, that pop-up with "Unable to save settings" appears and the console logs an error from main.bundle.js file located in admin/themes/new-theme/public (the well-known token issue). If I stay on the same page for about 2 minutes and I hit save again, it works. I get "Settings updated." What could be the issue here? Again, it happens only for product with more a lot of combinations (over 50, 60). The others are working from the beginning, even if those have 1, 2, 4 combinations.

Hi, I'm using Prestashop 1.7.2.1. and each time I modify a product and hit SAVE, the button remains light blue and the browser seems to hang/freeze for a very long time. After minutes of waiting It will respond again. Or after closing the browser and restarting it again. Can someone help me figure out what's wrong? I've attached a video to show you what's going on... You'll see that at first, everything will respond nicely, but after saving, it will just hang. Thanks, Luca hanging_prestashop.mov -
Hello everyone, I hope you're having a great day. I'm currently on prestashop 1.7 and I have already a non understandable amount of products on line. The problem I'm struggling with is that after some css editing of the template I found out that my customization fields module is not saving the customization for products. After reading the code of the customization form I find out that the normal behaviour is leading me to the product page after click on "save" but what happens is that I end up on the cart page and the customization is not saving. I'm using the theme "pos oregon 4". I'll be really grateful if someone can help me solve the problem. Thanks in advance.. -

Hello, I am using PrestaShop 1.5.3 and it is not saving changes made under Preferences and Advanced Parameters. It will save changes under products, modules, etc. just none of the big changes that need to be made. I cannot upgrade to 1.6 at this time as our busiest time of year is coming up and I cannot afford for something to happen to the website. Please, if anyone knows how to fix this saving issue.

Hi, I've some stange problem with ebay module. Module works correctly, but for strange motive, I can't save some modified field. For example the "return rules" box... I've changed text more times, but module saves only the first time... Another great problem if in style CSS manipolation. I've changed some lines of ebay.css file, but templase seems not consider my modify... for example, to change the image in the template I was forced to rename my new image with the old name written in the css, because even changing the address on the css file, the template always took the previous image. Anyone can help me ? Thank you.

Hello everyone, There is an issue about using stipe payment module for one page guest checkouts: When you save guest account information and then enter card number, transanction is performed in a normal way and everything works fine. But if you save your information, and then you edit, say, phone number and you hit "save" again, the stripe module stops working....the card type is not defined automatically and submitting payment leads to this error: "Token required, please check for any Javascript error on the payment page." However after refreshing page, it works perfectly again... What might be the reason for that? Are there any workarounds? Thanks in advance -
Hello world! I have just installed the prestashop version 1.5 on a computer A, then i've customize all the the features: products, categories, and so on,.... Then it apperared necessary to move the project on another computer B: - I've backed up the DB and - I've restored it on the computer B. - I move my shop_folder from A to B in the root folder server. Now, my problem is the following: When I try to save some modifications I ve made, it does'nt run. Its the case notably of: - the products - the categories - a changing of some SEO & URLs parameters, to avoid redirection to the the computer A 's localhost, assuming that it's now on the computer B that I'm working. The navigator sends a message indicating a server error or a configuration problem. And when I activate the debugger in MODE_DEV, I found the following message: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in D:\Mes Sites Web\xampp\htdocs\igtshop\tools\smarty\sysplugins\smarty_internal_cacheresource_file.php on line 180 Thanks by advance for any useful help! -
Whenever I try to update a product (either old or new) and I'm trying to change the price, shipping, associations, then save the product, no changes are saved, but I get this error message:instead: 400 Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Hi Everyone, I've been working on my first prestashop site and everything was going smoothly until I decided to change the Preferences-Store contacts- Shop Email from the default ([email protected]) which was my signup email to my new dedicated email for the site to: [email protected] No matter what I do it says saved then when leaving the page and returning it reverts to old email. I have read every post I could fine on this and tried all suggestions including, turning of cache, force recompile, deleting cache folder and smarty/compile folder contents, clearing browser cache & trying diff browsers and whatever else I could find but it still won't change. Just so we are clear I am running latest version 1.5.2, and what I want to change is Preferences-Store contacts- Shop Email (Displayed in emails sent to customers) Please can anyone on this forum help? I've been stuck on this for days now and don't want to continue working on shop if I can't fix this problem. Best Regards Dion -
Hi, I am hoping some one can help with this. I am running prestashop on a server with whm/Cpanel when I update a cms page and save only a small amount of text is saved in the database the rest is missing, also the data that is saved has the ? symbol. I do hope someone has come across this before i have been trying to fix it and searching the problem for over a week now. Regards WIll
