Hello, i have a fresh install in a vps and i am trying to update PS from 1.6.0.8 to 1.6.0.9 via 1-click update but I am getting several server permissions errors. Via ssh i saw that folder & files permissions are the followings: User : myusername group: apache User : Root group: root All the files that have root:root permissions stop the install.. So i updated permissions myuser:apache to all files. What i want to know if there is any chance that this may be a security issue? Or if therea are any files that must have only root:root permissions for some resons within a PS install? Regards, C

Hi there, Is it possible to restrict in any way the access of certain CMS pages to a specific employee profile? Employee A can access Page 1 but not Page 2 and Page 3 Employee B can access Page 2 but not Page 1 and Page 3 etc... Even an overwrite is good for me, I couldn't find a module that can do that. I wonder if there is no discussion on the consumer rights directive which is applicable law from now on in all eu countrys even if its not converted in local laws. Germany and the Czech Republic are two of the first countrys which merged this in local laws. I think some parts of prestashop doesn't met the requirements of this directive if I understand this right. Does anybody noticed this directive? Whats about prestashop. Will there be changes or are they implemented with new version already? best regards, Jan *********** Update *********** There will be a module called EU-Legal which is developed by a german collaboration of developers. Prestashop team will implement some new hooks and a option for a new payment api which allows a modified checkout as I know so far. https://github.com/EU-Legal/
