I was recently trying to edit my thumbnail images sizes under Preferences, and apparently I changed something too much, because the default sized images pages on my shop (home page + product pages) all appear as questions marks now. Can someone tell me how to make the products images show up again? My site: https://www.getkawaii.com/shop I've attached a screenshot of my image settings. Currently running Prestashop 1.6.1.20.

Hi everyone, I occurred some 500 errors and the images are missing in the products pages and few some other places. Mostly of the images are show in the category pages excepting when I am deleting and uploading new images. I deleted my httaccess file and I tried to regenerate it. When I turned off the accented URL and friendly URL buttons an 500 error appear. I cannot switch them off to regenerate the httaccess file. I successfully regenerated the thumbnails of the images. I also checked the images folders permission. Since today everything was fine but today it appears. Today I did some modifies at the robots.txt file, then the website collapse (500 error front and back office). I reupload the previous robots.txt file and I cleared the cache and I have again access at the front and back office again with the above mentioned issues. The change that I made at the robots.txt file before collapse was: I excluded the “Disallow: */modules/ “ command from the robots txt file. I did this exclusion because in the webmasters tool I got the warning that some indexed ( 75 URLs ) are blocked by the robots.txt Since now, I didn't find any way to restore the the missing images and to make the back office working correctly (switching off the friendly url and accented URL buttons). Any ideas how to fix it? Thank you in advance!

My product image wont showing after i use SSL from cloudflare..It show wrong URL to my homepage. if i saw from my sitemap, my product picture successfully rewrite to https..but link url on product page direct to homepage.. if anyone can help me, i would be very gratefull.. Hi, I want to import 1400 products from xml file. Everything goes fine, but product images won't appear in frontend (they appear as "Image not available" or as question mark). The weird thing is i can see them only in backend when i click on Product/Images tab. I have tried a lot of solutions that i found on google and this forum but none helped so far (regenerate thumbnails, friendly URL, deleted .htaccess file,...). I checked image types and they are all there and product images are where they should be (example: img/p/4/1/2/412-small_default)... I tried with several 1.6 versions and every import is the same. I am trying to solve this for a looong time and would be very grateful if someone could take a look or give me a hint. Thank you very much. BR, Jernej

Hi, I am using prestashop 1.5.4.1 and I changed my shop domain from moodico.ca to www.moodico.ca. After regenerating the images, the Front end of the site seems ok, but in the backend some images are just question marks. I have repeated regenerating images and re-enabled Friendly URL. But still I have ? mark. Do you know what should I do? Thanks, Mojtaba

PS, PrestaShop version: 1.6.0.9 Shop URL: http://giezen-linen.nl/ Current theme in use: default-bootstrap When i add more then 10 products, the images show a question mark. The first 10 products are still visible. Looks like there is a sort of max. or image limit? Hope there is solution, i am lost here.

I have setup Leo Fashion Theme on Prestashop 1.6, I know that the theme is built for 1.5.6 and is awaiting update soon, but I need help as I dont want to redesign the whole website going back to 1.5.6 The problem I am facing is : Thumbnails with Question Marks show up on product images on mouse hover. I have done extensive search and tried all that is possible (regenerating thumbnails, updating backoffice>pref>images > medium_default, cart_default... etc..) Need your help to overcome this problem. HOLAA A TODOS, estos dias he estado sufriendo por que en mis productos destacados tengo por defecto (plantilla leo theme) el efecto rollover que cuando pasas el mouse en ella cambia de imagen. La segunda imagen que debe aparecer que es la que pongo en el producto nunca aparece y sale el signo de interrogacion. PERO, cuando desactivo las urls amigables todo si va bien y el efecto sale genial. ME PODRIAN DECIR COMO PUEDO ARREGLAR ESTO POR FAVOR, ya he regenerado imagenes y dado permisos pero el problema es de las urls .. no se como corregirlo, ALGUNA IDEA POR FAVORR He buscado en el foro pero eso del efecto ROLLOVER casi nadie lo usa y si lo isan al parecer no tienen el mismo problema ...

Hello I have presta 1.5.4.1 in persian. I have a customized theme with its own modules and personalized image sizes. I have installed presta just new and didn't changed any of default settings. My friendly url is disable as default. I didn't generate robot.txt My shop is inactive for now. My questions: 1- when i add product, some times i get these errors: "3 errors This link_rewrite field is required at least in پارسی(Persian) Products must be in at least one category. This product must be in the default category." as i mentioned above my friendly url is not active, also i fill all boxes in seo tab and rewrite url box with English translation but still get the first error. my product is in its own category and have its default category. i dont understand why these errors happens. 2- I have big problem with my images: My theme has a documentation for installing and setting images and modules. I do the written settings but my pictures are not shown in my shop, instead of theme showing question mark. both in home page and product page. i have the update of my theme and installed new one on my presta and images are shown but because im using Persian language i had to ask some professional persons in persta shop for changing theme so that it become compatible with persian language { i have to use right to left direction and left to right is not so beautiful for this language}. Indeed i had payed for this job and they had done the work with older version of my theme (because the update of theme received to me late after i had give my theme for customizing) so if i want to use newer version of my theme i must repay for customizing it and this is not so happily for me! + i have to mention that this theme on the prestashop that developers have worked on it for converting to persian language compatibility, is working true and dosnt have any errors for images!!!! i want to know why this happens i mean why my images are not shown? if this is theme bug, so why it dosnt appear on another presta? and if this refers to presta what must i do? additional infos: i have this reports on my home page BO: URL rewriting Browser cache & compression Smarty optimization Combine, Compress & Cache Shop enabled i have regenerated thumbs after do changes in my image sizes and had cleaned my presta cash but nothing happened. thank you for your attention.

Hi All, I was busy adding some description to my products. I also wanted to put some small inmages in these descriptions. Only thing is, prestashop turns them into question marks. As you can see on (scroll down): http://casadelvinoamsterdam.nl/wit/7-poggiobello-ribolla-gialla.html The image URL is: www.casadelvinoamsterdam.nl/img/cms/Poggiobello_wijndomein.jpg but prestashop adds some text in front of it which makes the link: http://casadelvinoamsterdam.nl/wit/www.casadelvinoamsterdam.nl/img/cms/Poggiobello_wijndomein.jpg And then the image doesnt work anymore. Any idea how to keep prestashop from doing this? Thanks!

Hi, I have read many posts about this issue but nothing worked for me. In my shop, SOME images are showing 404.gif image even though I can see and open them in my FTP. Hi, I'm having trouble displaying the "on sale" image, on our website it is showing as a question mark. I have tried to regenerate thumb images in the BO / Preferences / Images but it still has not appeared. When I goto the path of the image in a web browser, the image is display as a question mark, however when I log into the web server and goto the path via FTP and download the image, it is the correct on sale image. Can anyone please advise how I can fix this problem. Many thanks Nick

Good morning PrestaShoppers, I installed a fresh download of PrestaShop, added our theme and added a couple products. Within the product we added all the required information including images but when viewing the product from the frontend (store view) the image displays a question mark instead of the actual product image. I am totally new to Prestashop and have done multiple searches about this topic, yet, even when I've seen advice on what to try, I don't even know HOW to do those things. Other than my logo images and slider images, there is only one product photo that shows up correctly. The link is goodgirlboutique.com . I'm using Firefox on my laptop, but I also see the problem in my iphone Safari browser as well. What would be my first step in fixing this? Hi, I need help to remove the funny question mark at the product listings. The summary was ok and showing "...", but after I changed the number to text to be shown, from 400 to 200, it is not showing correctly anymore. Site - www.mikeodwyerofficefurniture.co.uk version being used Version 1.3.6.0 - 1.521s Hi all, The problem that I have is that the client added some new products under a sub category in the Category "Office Desks" called "Mexico". When these were first added the product images showed as question marks rather than images. I have tried regenerating the thumbnails but al this has managed to do is to fail and to make all the other site product images become question marks too. I have looked at the permissions and although I can successfully set permissions on img/p to 777 I cant set permissions directly to the images although the good news is that all images appear to be there and I have taken a copy of the img/p folder just in case. Other thumbnails regenerate fine, it appears to be just the product images. I have seen a note about upgrading the version but as I am using a skin I am unsure if this is a good idea as I don't know if the skin we are using (blue-time) would be compatible with the new version. I am a little stuck I am afraid. I am considering taking out all the Mexico products as well as deleting the images which were added with these products in the hope that this may have been the cause but I thought I would post here first and see if anyone had any suggestions. All thoughts appreciated. The message I am getting when I try to regenerate thumbs is 1 error Only part of the images have been regenerated, server timed out before the end. I have tried regenerating with "erase images" unchecked and I can further advise that this "fail" happens on products under large medium and small however all others regenerate fine.
