I have a small 1.5.4.1 Prestashop at http://www.homeschool-shelf.com/en None of my product pages are coming up. Whenever I click on a product to see it - I get This page isn’t working www.homeschool-shelf.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500 I tried to install a free responsive theme, which didn't work and I removed. After which none of my product pages come up

Good morning all, Using PS 1.5.1.3 default theme I would like to be able to add a tab to every product page that gives all the shipping details, prices/times etc, I know that you can buy modules that create tabs where you can add text, images, videos etc but if I have 2000 products and then the delivery charge increases I would have to change this 2000 times which of course would be a little tedious. So, could I add one tab ( with all the details added ) that would automatically be called when I added a product to the catelogue. If this is not possible then would I be able to add a link on every product page that would take the customer to a Delivery/CMS page Sorry for the long question Hope you can help Paul- 20 replies

Hi, I would like to add a filter to a product page and not sure if there's a way to do it. For instance, on this page http://reflectiveoff.../icon-plus.html I want to be able to select a fabric type (Pyra or Omega Plus) and then the fabric colours attribute only display the relevant values. eg. Select Pyra fabric and only the Pyra fabric colours are shown and not the Omega Plus. Is this possible or can it only be done with a module? Many thanks Richard -
Tax options not showing up in Product Pages

Greetings Prestashoppers, I inherited a PS site from a previous dev group. I am having trouble with modifying the tax rules for the site. I have been able to create the global rules, but I don't see any options to apply taxes on the product pages. From what I understand in the presta manual, there should be a tax box under the "Pre-Tax Retail Price" on each Product page - price tab. But there is no such box on our back end product pages. Please advise. -
pawsandclawspetsupply.com Love Prestashop but I think the product pages a bland. Is there a way to make the product pages more eye-catching? More attractive. Any ways or modules that add pizzazz to the product pages thanks for any suggestions. r, Bruce

Hi All, I have recently put a number of of items on sale using specific pricing and now the products on the homepage have lots of white gaps between them, see: http://hillcresths.co.uk/ but on my categories pages, it looks great, see: http://hillcresths.co.uk/18--belluno-series- How can I either get rid of the white space on the homepage or make the home page look like the categories pages? I have tried playing with the homefeatured.tpl as suggested by @vekiain this post: solved-how-to-remove-white-space-under-featured-products-on-home-page but could not get this to work Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. I edited my frontcontroller.php by changing publick $ssl; --> public $ssl =true; this made my entire site Secure. 3 forms initally showed up that were http and not https <form id="productsSortForm" action="http://www.domain.com/18-big-boat-blocks"> <form action="http://www.domain.com/18-big-boat-blocks" method="get" class="nbrItemPage pagination"> <form action="http://www.domain.com/18-big-boat-blocks" method="get" class="pagination"> The top one was corrected by changing it to <form id="productsSortForm" action="{$link->getPageLink('search',true)|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}"> However I am still unable to change the last two: <form action="{if !is_array($requestNb)}{$requestNb}{else}{$requestNb.requestUrl}{/if}" method="get" class="nbrItemPage pagination"> <form action="{if !is_array($requestNb)}{$requestNb}{else}{$requestNb.requestUrl}{/if}" method="get" class="pagination"> Does anyone know how to make these form actions produce https? This would make my entire site show the green padlock instead of yellow for category and product pages. Thank you! -
Hi, Just installed fresh version of 1.6.0.6 and my product pages are looking like this: http://puu.sh/9TrrI/e3aa3e761c.jpg Any ideas why?? thank you! Fixed this one. For some reason the new installation had not installed the product comments module. Installed it and the product page works fine now. -
My shop shows categories and lists products, but the pages for individual products are totally blank. Help, please!

Hi I need to know if it is possible either with a module or a step by step guide (not too good with coding at the moment) to show shipping options and prices per country, price, weight etc. on product pages? It is not as simple as just one or two different options as the site will be multiple seller and each seller will create their own shipping couriers, costs etc. I need the information showing on the product pages to be dynamic so the customer can change country and the shipping price updates automatically, same for quantity (based on weight). If anyone knows of any modules or can help with coding please let me know. Thanks -
I have used the built in module top horizontal menu in my theme in order to add and remove items from the store menu. The menu contains links to both CMS and product pages. All the links work correctly in the homepage of the site. However when I click on a product and go to its respective product page, the links to CMS pages changes to, CATEGORY_NAME/CMS_PAGE Similarly when I click on a CMS page on the homepage and then choose to go to a product page the links change to, content/CATEGORY_NAME I hope its clear I have tried searching through the DB tables and associated tpl and php files but couldnt find the cause of this problem. Please help me to determine the cause of this issue -

I will be setting up a store and have search various programs to do so with little success. I need to have static pages describing various product categories with links to subcategories and then products/links on those pages. Our products come in many styles and configurations as well as sizes, colors, add ons and customization. Prestashop has what I need for pricing, shipping, and everything else but I don't see the ability to have a static front page and subpages with text rather than products. Can anyone help, is there a way to do this? Here is an example of what I am talking about: www.menushoppe.com -
Hi guys, I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I am having with my client's prestashop store. A couple of days ago I had to restore the website and database from a backup and I am now getting a "Server Error" when trying to view ALL product pages! Error says: "HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request." I really don't understand this as everything was working perfectly before the restore, and after looking in the database the products tables seems to be fine... Hi there, Since I have changed from 1.4.7 to 1.5.0.17 it is remarkable how slow the loading of my store has become. Mainly the product pages have a serious issue. Various searches on this forum and on google gave me forums where it's being said that 1.5 is not slower than 1.4 I have therefor upgraded my hosting towards a new higher better package (siteground hosting). I am using the CCC options everywhere. I am using Memcache. I am using Rijndael with mcrypt lib. I had the store transfered towards a closer allocation center. and in addition, I am having the site loaded over Cloudflare to speed up as much as possible. Yet... it still takes ages to load the product page. Please, have a look at www.sporterra.eu and click on some of the products. I would love to get your opinions.

Hello all, I got 2 questions. I have a small clothing shop, but recently (at 30-09-2011) my visitors online counter was freezed at 0. and also my product pages viewed on the main admin page was freezed at 19414. I looked at the date on the calender, didn't helped. reinstalled the modules. Not the answer. And i cleaned the databases. Still no answer. Now my question is, what is the problem with the counting? Or can you tell me in what page/script the functions for counting costumers and product pages are called? Because the problem with visitors online is that he doesn't put any information in: ps_connections ps_connections_page ps_connections_source ps. i use version 1.3.7.0 Thanks in advance! -
Hi All, I have slightly edited the Prestashop-New as seen here but I seem to have a problem on the product pages. The add to cart and Add to Wishlist buttons are crashing into each other. I am not aware I made any changes so I can't work out why its wrong - nor via Firebug what I need to change to make the images align correctly. I am sure its simple. -
i have PrestaShop™ 1.4.5.1 installed and installed the new 1.5 theme installed (http://addons.prestashop.com/en/neutral/3337-prestashop-template-15.html) but it is not showing the products correctly or the categories - pics are covering up text and pics are running off page...http://184.154.232.5/~dynami00/shop/classic-rolmphones/30-classic-rolmphone-120.html this was NOT the case with the old template we were using. along with the above I'm having trouble changing the headers for the side and footer module headings. ie: "Stores" - we only have one store, so I want it to say "Store" and the same with the footer heading "Informations", I want it to say "Information" (http://184.154.232.5/~dynami00/shop/) I've been searching and can't find a fix for any of the above...PLEASE HELP!!!!! -
Can someone explain how to position modules on the Products Pages? My actual product information is parsing way down at the bottom of the content area, below: categories block, previewed products block, and some other block I can't even identify. I don't want to have to disable those modules/blocks but they shouldn't parse right up at the top of the content area. People coming to the page have to scroll down (if the bother) to see the product info.
