I found a similar topic for an older version of PrestaShop, but none of the solutions in here worked for me: My issue is that the product reviews do not display correctly on my site. Next to the criterion there is now only one single star and a red error icon, like this: I tried resetting, then uninstalled/reinstalled the module, nothing changed. My PrestaShop version is 1.7.8.3, I am working on a child of the Classic theme. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Hi all, I´m really desperated as I do not find where the problem is. I would appreaciate any help on this topic. Thanks in advance. Since one month, one month and half the nuember of errors in serach console about product comments are increasing and no ide how to solve it. I already reset the module and look into main files but unable to find the origin of this error. In example on url (But it happens in more and more products urls): https://www.delica-te-zen.com/comprar-rooibos/122-rooibos-leyendas-arabes.html?search_query=leyenda&results=1 I got in search console this result: If openign the first one, i.e. I got this alarm: (Element do not admit comments) If click on the error to check the code: If I check other kind of error (grade) i got the details like this: And details in the code looks like this: Could someone help me or give me a tarck to solve this issue? The included product comments in 1.7.6.2 leads to error 508 if you click around too much, some processes in the code are probably taking to long.

Good day, At the eshop (Prestashop 1.6), I have installed the Product Comments v3.6.1 (Product Comments) module. When I open a product and i want to write a comment / review, it displays a bad product name and a bad description. The image of the product is correct. I found that the problem is in the Theme Warehouse. Has anyone solved it?

Hi community, I am having a little bit of problem, because I found out that productcommentslist is rendering this module is taking over 1 000 ms everytime when page load. I am having lastest version of this module. hookdisplayProductListReviews ~1500ms. It is kinda weird because I didn't see any long queries related to this module. Does anyone have this issue too? I checked this using setting define('_PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_', false); to true in defines.inc.php Presta 1.6.1.4 -
Hi, I'm using PrestaShop 1.5.6.3 with the Product Comments v2.9.1 module (this was the latest upgrade available). After filling in the star ratings, title and comment, pressing the 'send' button doesn't do anything. It just sits there. I had issues with the login and adding items to the cart, but the error was clear and suggested adding in extra fields to the database (i.e id_lang) which solved the problem. Not being able to see any error messages and not being able to find a similar issue in the forum is making it tough to troubleshoot. Has anyone encountered something similar? Thanks, -LE224 -
Hello, I am facing problem with module Product Comments. When I finished comment and review I clicked on "SEND" button but nothing happened. So I checked Module Product Comments and it showes New update of this version so I updated for the latest version but after that it shows error message "Can not install". I also tried manually download Module from Prestashop website and replace by FTP there the new version but now it still can not install. Does anybody know how to fix it? Thank you

Hi All, I am completely new to this and was hoping someone could help me, I am having problems with the inbuilt review system under the Product Comments Module, For some unknown reason the rating stars are always stiuck on 3, it wont allow you to select any other number, I think it maybe a javascipt conflict, Has anyone come across this before, i`m using 1.5.2, new install with responsive theme, The site can be viewed here I will be quite happy to pay a small amount for any help with this as I need a good review system, Or does someone know of one I can purchase, I have already tried one from egrovesystem.com but it completly messed up the theme and put me back a week. Any advice or help would be most grateful. -
I'm using version 1.5.5.0 of Prestashop with the default theme and default products, with version 2.3 of Product Comments. When viewed with a mobile device, the "More Info" tab appears on the product page but the Comments tab does not appear. All is well when viewed with a desktop browser but not when viewed with a mobile phone. Any thoughts on why this is happening or how to fix it? -

The following error shows when I try to add or configure a criterion in the product comments module: [PrestaShop] Fatal error in module e0045500421582d7c0868fcc9c5a04e29e1731c4.file.form.tpl: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 786432 bytes) This error started appearing suddenly... I'm using Prestashop 1.6.0.6. I don't know what to do so I appreciate your help!! -
Hey guys. SITE URL: http://www.cyberwarecomputers.com/store/ The viewed products block on the doesn't show pictures for me. It just shows "No image available". Sometimes it does, but it usually doesn't. I have tried clearing my cache and all that good stuff but it seems to be reoccurring. Can anyone share some insight on this?

Hi could anyone help with changing the display position of the 'star rating on the category view when a product has comments from img A to img B (please see images). The way it displays now is above the price and add to cart buttons which on smaller displays like a tablet screws up the page display (aesthetically speaking) if other products in the same line don't have reviews. I would like the ratings to be below the add to cart buttons so they still appear in a straight line. I think the attached images explain it a little better. Any help would be excellent. Thank you. Dear All !!! I have updated the Product Comments Module (by Prestashop) to v 3.3.6 on PS 1.5.4.1 (works with a theme developped by Prestashop) After update, product pages were returning HTTP 500 Error due to some incompatibility with the new version of this module (It seems that there is a fatal error in the way some function is being called in the new version) I had to deactivate it before I can find a solution Has anyone had this type of issue ? Any idea on how to solve it ? Cheers

Hi all! How you doing? I'm workin on PS 1.6.0.8 but I still have the problem I got on the latest before. I installed the free module Facebook Comments (By MyPresta.Eu), and It works perfectly, but even if some will post something, the default Review field (under the product image and infos) says that there's still no comment. I post a screenshot below to explain better. Is there any way to fix this? Or maybe.. to hide the default review header and show only facebook comments? Thank you all. HERE IS THE SITE

Hi all At the moment I can't see it, due to, the background color is white, and for some reason, the button (normal/hoover and text) is displayed all in white too. I've tried to change the productcomments.css file, but dosen't work. The button is still displayed all white. Very weird. Any further idea will be highly appreciated. Hi, my problem is that after the first comment to a product, no further comment is possible. Product comments for specific category only?

PS version: 1.5.4.1 Default PS productcomments module. I´m trying to define, when "idtab5" will be displayed(product comments on product pages) by using the categories id. I only have 2 categories, i want one without any product comments and one with, category with id 6 without comments, and id 7 with. I tried some code found on the forums, but it doesnt seem to work, so i must be missing something. I presume i´m missing a reference to category.php, to ensure this file is being read, and that there actually is a defined category id, but where to put it and how to write it? Here´s the code i tried to put in....added to productcomments.tpl line 32, ended at about 78; {if $category->id AND $category->active}{if $category->id_category == 7} {else} {/if}{/if} Also i tried adding; include_once(dirname(_FILE_).'/classes/category.php'); Added it to productcomment.php, but it didnt help. Hola y buenas tardes> Estoy trabajando en la version 1.5.6 de PS. En un tema llamado Clean theme, es un tema gratuito que se supone trabaja con todos los modulos de Prestashop. Pero por alguna razon el problema que tiene block product comments en versiones anteriores regresa al activar el clean theme. alguna sugerencia?? desde ya, muchas gracias -
One thing that has bugged me for a while is that the default product ratings / comments appear below the 'add to cart' button and then push the long description/tabs down the page, close to or below the fold. Not good because the customer doesn't then see all the extra information. So, after a few hours I have managed to fix this with a simple CSS change. Now the disclaimer, I have done this with my theme, it's not extensively tested though I have put it through the web developer responsive themes checker to make sure it doesn't mess the other layouts. I also have no idea if this is the right way to do it. It's just the way that worked for me today! Here are my changes: In productcomments.css I amended the following: #product_comments_block_extra { padding: 0 0 0 0; font-weight: bold; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; float: left; width: 160px; margin-top: 15px; } In product.css I amended the following: .content_prices { margin: 10px 0; padding-top: 10px; text-align: right; float: right; width: 230px; } You can tweak as needed. Essentially, it creates a two column layout. Final disclosure, I am not a CSS expert, not even close. I can tweak in Firebug. Please don't reply with problems on your site because I won't be able to help, even if I had the time to! :-) This is here to help anyone in a similar position who needs a quick tip. Thanks. -
Hey guys, SITE URL: Removed. I created & uploaded a theme with http://www.presta-theme-maker.com/ With this theme my product comments module doesn't seem to work. I definitely need this to work! The website states that product comments will work after I upload the template. Also, when I installed the template there was an option to DISABLE PRODUCT COMMENTS. I unchecked the box so that the module product comments WOULD NOT be disabled. Any help is much much much appreciated! Thanks. -
I'm cleaning up the module Product Comments and so far I arranged all things into desired position. Yet, since from the beginning, I can't figure out how to arrange correctly the display of the rating stars on the new comment section. Here's what I get: Does anyone know how to align the stars correctly? I've been messing up with the entire .css and can't find a solution… -
I have installed Prestashop 1.5.4 and i am using the native "Product comments" module. I would like to disable guest/visitor review, so i set "Allow guest comments" to "No"(back office - modules - product comments). After doing that, the "write your review" tab on product page disappeared even if i tested it as a registered customer (login status). When i set "Allow guest comments“ to "yes", the "write your review" tab appeared. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!
